As a novice wildlife photography follower, I started having so many questions, but especially questions about the beautiful bears. This beautifully written book and its amazing bear photos answered all my questions. It is much more than a pretty coffee table book. It demonstrates that a wildlife photographer, a good one, wants to share not only beautiful pictures but wants us to understand in depth the behaviors and characteristics of his subjects. You will love this book. And by the way, my least favorite bear was the black bear, but now it’s my favorite. Thanks Eddy!

I bought the Limited Edition and very much loved the photos. I especially enjoyed the layout: Under each section each of the 3 species of bears, Polar, Grizzly and Black, are extolled about and given lengthy explanation and info! Thank you, Eddy!!

What a beautiful book. Having been lucky enough to see grizzlies and black bears in the wild in BC, this was a glorious reminder of those experiences. The photographs are stunning, but it’s the book’s focus on helping understand the behaviour and life-cycle of these amazing animals that sets it apart. One to have close at hand as a reminder of the beauty of the Canadian wilderness.

There is something so special about bears. I have adored them all my life. Interestingly, it wasn’t until 2016 that I had my first encounter of grizzlies in Knights Inlet, British Columbia. My life changed that day.
Ever since seeing grizzlies in the wild, l wanted to know more and more information about bears, their lives in detail. It was a hard deal to find until now.
Thank you Eddy Savage for presenting such a wonderful experience in Wild Bears of Canada. I have learnt so much from your personal encounters with bears and the photos are something that inspires me. Breathtaking in their presence and photographed to showcase their every emotions.
